Management Information Systems in my company?
I am working as a Area Manager for a private telecom company. I need to look after a workforce of 220 odd employees under my jurisdiction. Besides the regular work load, I need to look after their pay and allowances and also need to maintain their requisite information like their personal details and the other official details. Certain amendments in the pay and allowances details like the annual increments of the employees is also required to be carried and correspondence is also required to be carried out with the employees. I am interested in a management information system where all the data regarding any matter is stored and utilized in various forms. Can anyone suggest me as to what skills/software/systems/database do I require to achieve this task successfully? Please help..
You could learn to code a database yourself. This would take quite a lot of effort and I’m not sure if it would be worth it.
If I were you I’d pay someone else to do it. I know a good company that has experience with these sorts of things. They are also very cheap.
