My Sony Vaio battery suddenly isn’t working after i updated my power management driver.?
I am running windows 7 pro and just updated my BIOS, memory card reader, control center, notebook utilities, alps pointing device driver and power management directly off the sony drivers cite. Now when I log in after about 30 seconds i get a message saying the battery isn’t compatible or isn’t connected properly and to let the computer hibernate. I first got the message after the power management update so I’m hoping it’s software issue. It’s the battery that came with the computer and it’s only a couple months old. I do keep it plugged in most of the time and its on a fair bit so is it possible it overheated? Any advice would be great.
how do i “role back the driver”?
Go to device manager (type device manager into the search bar on the start menu) and roll back the driver.
