Secondary data for thesis?
Hello All,
I need to work on a thesis soon for my masters program and am planning to work on software project risk management. I initially thought of doing a qualitative research, but if I can get some secondary data (survey results, etc), I will probably do a more quantitative research. Can someone point me to a resource that has secondary data related to this topic? Thanks much.
the secondary data supporting the qualitative research are from events like focus group, interviews, etc, where the data you collected are tended to be more detailed and concise. That is why they can call it a qualitative.
For the quantitative research, there are general quick questionnaires, surveys, polls, when a large number of people are involved in order to receive a mean average among these people. But these has a number of disadvantages, such as subject biases where they people who are willing to take the poll or survey tend to know or like the subject more than the other, therefore taking the poll or survey.
