How many discs do I use to reset my laptop?
I already asked how to restore my laptop to factory settings, and I got “Reinstall the OS using the reinstallation disc.” Problem is, my laptop came with 6 different discs, and I don’t know if I should use all of them or just the OS one.
1 is a Roxio Creator disc.
1 is white and says “Licensed only for distribution with a new PC.”
1 says “Drivers and Utilities” and “For Reinstalling Dell Inspiron Portable Computer Software.”
1 says “Drivers and Utilities” and “For Reinstalling Dell Webcam Manager” and is blue.
The red Operating System “Reinstallation DVD.”
1 “Application” “For Reinstalling Dell MediaDirect 3.5.” It is packaged with a “Reinstalling Dell MediaDirect” manual.
None of the discs are opened.
Should I use all of these discs? Is there an order I should use them in? I don’t want to mess up my computer but I want to restore it to factory settings.
1) OS Reinstall DVD
2) after that, I doubt that the order is important.
