Finding users to test new point of sale software for stores and restaurants?
Software Company is introducing its Point-of-Sale and inventory management application on the US market and is looking for companies willing to try it and provide feedback to on what works well and what needs improvement. As of June 2009, the system has been in operation for over ten years in seven countries and over 40,000 businesses use currently.
What is the best way to find test clients in the Chicago area? We have staff here to help with installation and training.

Approach it as you would a new sale. Target your market and show benefits that your software offers. Tell interested parties that you’ll give them a free trial for a few months.
Few established organizations will sign up to be test users. It’s too disruptive and confusing. You may have a better shot with new companies looking to save on POS application. Good Luck.
