Organization on a personal computer varies for each person, decide how you want to be organized, i personally print all important document and also save a copy in ‘my documents’. And the number one reason is always back up your data to an external storage device!
When upgrading, first make a back up, (this should before you perform any tasks like this on a PC. Having the manual would help, however you shouldn’t have to read this unless something goes wrong, and the compatibility check goes without saying.
