Is there a better option for Contact management software?
Is there a better option for contact management software than Access?? we do lots of mail merges but also do mass emails as well but we need to be able to make our own fields to fill in information to be able to keep track of certain things per contact, any ideas out there?

There are lots of free email marketing software out there in the market, such as Group Mail, Send Blaster and 1and1Mail. Most of them do a good job of contact management also. As far as I know, 1and1Mail allows you to import and export contacts, and also customize fields in the address book to meet your mass emails needs.
I have tried lots of such kind of email marketing software. Most of them offer free edition that you can use free of charge forever, but with some features limitations. The advantage of 1and1Mail is that it is simple and very easy-to-use. But its user interface is a little bit plain. I have used it for two months for email blasting, and it works quite well. Other mass mail software may be more powerful, but may be difficult to pick up or manage.
